Our purpose of Renewal

b: to restore or replenish
c: to revive, re-establish.
d: to bring back to an original condition of freshness and vigor.
At Trinity we care about Renewal. We want every Christian to:
- Be honest with God about the struggles in your life and expect the Holy Spirit to
take up the struggle and help transform what you have been powerless to alter.
- Discern the restoration that the Holy Spirit yearns to achieve in you.
- Invite others to hold you accountable to the growth Jesus desires by helping you re-establish
your faith commitment..
- Endure sadness and pain while expecting the Father to bring freshness out of turmoil.
Opportunities to experience Renewal at Trinity:
- Take up "Companions in Christ," a 28-week spiritual formation opportunity that will provide you with an opportunity
for honest reflection of your life story as well as opportunity to open your life to the Holy Spirit for transformation.
- Commit yourself to regular worship attendance, joining a Sunday School class and a small group or neighborhood table,
and becoming involved in some volunteer ministry within this congregation. We have discovered that these activities
in combination provide the Holy Spirit with opportunity to restore your life to God's image.
- Re-establish the commitment you are making with others, and inviting them to lovingly hold you accountable.
- Meet with a pastor or request the support of a deacon when you are going through a time of sadness and pain
or need a fresh start. Also consider placing your needs on the prayer chain. There is support for you at this
church and we will walk with you, hope for you and pray for you as you go through times of struggle that call
for endurance.
