"Lord, teach us to pray..." Luke 11:1
You are always invited to ask one of our pastors or elders to pray with you after any worship service. We have a prayer room available, and are glad to lift up any needs that you might have in prayer.
Please contact Pastor John Anderson if you have a special need for healing prayer. Pastor John is available to help craft a prayer service just for you. Prayer services can be held in your home or in the church, and can include your community of family and friends, the congregation, or kept very small. A healing service can include being anointed with oil, receiving symbolic gifts for your journey, an opportunity to reflect on your journey aloud with those present, and an opportunity to receive the prayers of your community. This service is designed to create a memory that can help to sustain you during your journey, and also designed for you to be the focused recipient of an outpouring of prayer on your behalf and God's tender care.
Please contact Pastor John Anderson if you have a special need for discerning prayer. John is available to facilitate a time of discerning prayer to help you make an important decision or simply become more attuned to what God might be doing in your life.
Our deacons oversee a "Prayer Shawl Ministry." Several members of our congregation have volunteered to knit beautiful shawls, and to pray for the recipients of these shawls as they knit. The shawl becomes a special symbol of being blanketed in the prayers of our congregation as you go through a difficult season in your life. If a prayer shawl would be helpful to you, please contact Pastor John Anderson.
If you are interested in receiving prayer requests by e-mail, please contact Margie Bessler.
