Winter Adult Sunday School Classes

Make a New Years resolution of deepening your faith walk by attending one of our adult learning opportunities in 2012! Our ongoing class Exodus: The Journey Continues led by Scott Diaz will be meeting on the third floor in Room 306. Hope Green will be leading The Bible from Scratch: New Testament for Beginners in Room 305. Bud Everitt will be leading a five week class on Ephesians in the Church Library. All three classes will meet during the 10:35 hour. Close

Mentor a Child - Volunteer as a Pen Pal

Inter-Church ARMS needs volunteers to write one letter each month from now until May to an Arvada-area 5th grade student. more

Inter-Church ARMS needs volunteers to write one letter each month from now until May to an Arvada-area 5th grade student. The ARMS Pen Pal Mentoring Program is a fun and exciting volunteer opportunity that improves students' self-esteem, as well as their writing skills. Each month volunteers receive an envelope that contains their student's letter, along with a self-stamped return envelope. This is a very low maintenance volunteer activity that does not require too much time but has great rewards. Inter-Church ARMS hosts spring gatherings in local schools so that students and volunteers may meet face-to-face. All postage and envelopes, as well as background checks, are provided. Richard Stepp was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Dec 23. He has an important and challenging surgery on Jan 3 to biopsy that tumor in order to determine treatment. February 3-5, 2012 - Highlands Presbyterian Camp, Allenspark, CO. We invite all men to come to Highlands and worship our Lord in the beauty that surrounds us, enjoy good food and fellowship. This retreat will focus on men overcoming challenges they face in their lives as they walk with Christ. The cost will be $130 and includes room (2 nights), breakfast (2), lunch and dinner. Financial assistance available. There will be three churches involved and we anticipate that reservations will fill quickly so please don't delay.
