The Deacons primary ministry is follow-up pastoral care. A deacon will be a companion for someone during the healing process after surgery, major illness or after the loss of a loved one. Deacons regularly pray for people under their care.
Deacons may also provide meals following surgery or recovery from illness and organize and serve a reception following a memorial service.
